After graduating from college with a degree in Business Administration, Rudy spent two years in the Army and upon discharge, moved to Bandera in 1959.  A chance meeting with John Wayne led Rudy to a 14 year career in Hollywood as an actor/stuntman.  He always said that some day Bandera would be his home again, so with the decline in popularity of western movies, he moved back to Bandera and in 1975 received his real estate license, specializing in farm and ranch sales.

Over the years, Rudy has broadened his field to handle all types of real estate.  His experience led him to become sales manager over five different large subdivisions, including some in other counties outside of Bandera.  With a real estate license dating from 1975 makes him one of the most experienced REALTORs in Bandera County.  He still has contact with many of his celebrity friends, but his time now is devoted to helping others find the property of their dreams, so that they too can enjoy this wonderful area known as the Texas Hill Country.
